Metro and taxi route
- Take the Dubai Metro Red Line to Ibn Battuta (R39).
- Leave towards the mall/bus-station side and follow signs to the taxi rank.
- Ask for your exact park: MOTIONGATE Dubai, Real Madrid World, LEGOLAND Dubai or LEGOLAND Water Park.
- Save your return pickup point and allow extra time near park closing.
Ibn Battuta is not the geographically closest rail station, but it is a practical interchange with taxis, buses, mall facilities and the historic DPR1 connection. The current Red Line terminus name is Life Pharmacy (R42), formerly UAE Exchange; reaching R42 does not create a direct public-transport link to the resort.
Is there a bus to Dubai Parks and Resorts?
RTA introduced Route DPR1 between Ibn Battuta and Dubai Parks and Resorts. Because dedicated leisure routes can be suspended or revised, check S'hail for a live DPR1 departure on your travel date.
Routes C28, F01, C1 and Route 4 serve other parts of Dubai and should not be treated as direct Dubai Parks services.
Free resort shuttle
Dubai Parks and Resorts currently advertises a free shuttle for guests with a valid park ticket or confirmed booking, with seats offered first-come, first-served. Pickup points and times may vary. Review the official shuttle information before planning around it.
From major areas
From Downtown Dubai
Take the Red Line towards Expo 2020 / Life Pharmacy and leave at Ibn Battuta. Continue by confirmed shuttle or taxi. The road section can take longer during evening and weekend traffic.
From Dubai Marina or JLT
Take the Red Line south to Ibn Battuta, then continue by road. For groups, a direct taxi from Marina may be more convenient once transfers and waiting time are considered.
From Dubai International Airport
From Terminal 1 or 3, take the Red Line south-west to Ibn Battuta. This crosses much of Dubai, so travellers with children or luggage may prefer a pre-booked car.
From Al Maktoum International Airport
Dubai Parks and Resorts is comparatively close by road. Taxi or a pre-arranged hotel transfer is generally the simplest option.
What is at Dubai Parks and Resorts in 2026?
The current official destination lists five main park/entertainment zones:
- MOTIONGATE Dubai — Hollywood-themed rides and indoor/outdoor lands
- Real Madrid World — football-themed rides and experiences
- LEGOLAND Dubai — family rides and LEGO attractions
- LEGOLAND Water Park — water attractions designed mainly for families with younger children
- Riverland Dubai — dining, entertainment and themed waterfront areas
The complex also includes Neon Galaxy, Lapita hotel, LEGOLAND Hotel and other stay-and-play options.
Opening hours and tickets
Each park has its own calendar, and hours change by season, weekday, events and ride maintenance. Do not use one timetable for the entire resort.
Check the official calendar on the morning of your visit. LEGOLAND also maintains an operational-updates page for temporary ride closures. Online prices and multi-park offers can differ from gate prices.
Driving and parking
Enter the exact park or hotel in navigation rather than only “Dubai Parks and Resorts”. Follow venue signs to general, preferred or hotel parking. The walk from parking to security can be substantial, especially with children.
Photograph the parking zone and row. If using a taxi, agree on a named return pickup point such as Riverland or the relevant park entrance.
Family and accessibility tips
- Check minimum-height rules before buying tickets for children.
- Bring sun protection for outdoor sections, even when a park includes indoor areas.
- Download tickets and booking references before arrival.
- Check stroller and locker charges directly with the selected park.
- Visitors with access needs should review each park's accessibility guide; ride eligibility can differ.
- Do not schedule the final Metro connection too tightly after the park closes.
