Which exit should you use?

The exits serve opposite sides of Sheikh Zayed Road. Follow signs inside the paid area instead of trying to cross the highway at street level.

  • Gold & Diamond Park / Al Quoz side: use the signed pedestrian connection; allow extra time within the complex.
  • Umm Al Sheif / Al Barsha side: follow station signs for the local road and bus stops.
  • Taxi or ride-hailing: tell the driver which side of Sheikh Zayed Road you are on.

The station has lifts, escalators, tactile guidance, accessible gates and toilets. Ask staff for the step-free route if needed.

Bus connections

Common RTA connections associated with Equiti include:

  • F29: Equiti Metro Station–Al Wasl Road feeder service.
  • DH1: circular connection between Dubai Hills and Equiti.
  • F25 and F26: local feeder connections around Al Quoz and Al Barsha.

Stops and routes can change. Use the RTA Journey Planner with your exact destination.

Places near Equiti Metro Station

Gold & Diamond Park

This jewellery retail and business complex is the station’s best-known nearby destination. Allow roughly 10–15 minutes for the walk, depending on the entrance, and use signed crossings.

Al Quoz

Equiti is useful for northern Al Quoz, but the district is large. Alserkal Avenue and deeper warehouse destinations may require a bus or taxi.

Umm Al Sheif and Al Barsha

The station serves residential and commercial streets west of Sheikh Zayed Road. A wrong-side exit can add a substantial detour, so check the signs before leaving.

Fares and nol cards

RTA calculates fares by zones crossed. Standard published Silver nol fares are AED 3 for one zone, AED 5 for two zones and AED 7.50 for three or more zones; Gold Class costs double. Confirm current prices on the RTA nol fares page.

Keep enough balance for the maximum fare, and tap in and out with the same card.

Getting to common destinations

  • Mall of the Emirates: one Red Line stop toward Centrepoint; exit at R32.
  • Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall: continue toward Centrepoint to R25.
  • Dubai Marina or JLT: travel toward Expo 2020/Life Pharmacy and use Sobha Realty or DMCC.
  • Old Dubai: travel toward Centrepoint and change at BurJuman or Union for the Green Line.

Practical tips

  • Avoid weekday peaks if you have luggage.
  • Women and children may use the designated cabin; Gold Class requires the correct nol product.
  • Eating and drinking are prohibited on Metro trains and in stations.
  • For assistance, speak to station staff or call RTA on 800 90 90.
  • Use a taxi for addresses deep inside Al Quoz, especially in hot weather.
