Dubai, June 11, 2025: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Supreme Space Council, surprised UAE space startups with a hands-on meeting today.
He met founders from Rimal, Ardhiyat Al Ibdaa, 4EI, Marlan Space, Aliensense, Oryx Space, and Aspire Space Technology. The meeting happened at an official venue in Dubai. His Highness emphasized that the UAE’s space sector is now powered by strategic public‑private partnerships and fresh investment.
“Innovation and long‑term funding are essential,” he affirmed, pledging his support. This shows clear backing from the highest level for homegrown aerospace firms.

Participants shared plans ranging from AI‑enabled earth observation to reusable launch systems. They praised the UAE’s flexible regulations and new Space Economic Zones. One CEO said this regulatory push “unlocks real potential.”
The meeting forms part of the strategic drive to position the UAE as a global space hub. It builds on efforts by the Supreme Space Council and UAE Space Agency, led by Dr Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi.
A notable moment came when Sheikh Hamdan highlighted youth energy. “With the energy of our youth, the UAE is building space capabilities,” he said on LinkedIn.
