Dubai Municipality is going all out to ensure residents enjoy a safe and clean Eid Al Adha 2025. The city has deployed a force of 2,800 field personnel, including engineers, inspectors, and sanitation workers, to manage cleanliness and health standards during the holiday rush.
The initiative includes large-scale cleaning drives targeting Eid prayer grounds, public areas, green zones, and major roads. More than 752 vehicles and machines have been mobilized. Temporary waste container points are now active across key gathering sites, according to Gulf News.
To safeguard public health, 150 inspectors from Dubai Municipality’s food safety team are actively monitoring markets, eateries, and abattoirs. Their focus is on ensuring hygiene in sacrificial meat handling and food storage, as emphasized in a report by Zawya.
Parks will operate on extended hours, with Zabeel, Creek Park, and Al Mamzar welcoming visitors from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Meanwhile, the Quranic Park will open until 10 p.m., with indoor attractions running from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Night-swimming beaches, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, and Umm Suqeim 1, will have enhanced safety patrols. Some beaches have been reserved for families to ensure privacy and comfort during peak hours.
Municipal officials urge residents to report any concerns or hygiene issues via the Dubai 24/7 app or by calling 800 900.
