Emirates Flight Catering Opens AED 160M Laundry Hub to Boost Linencraft Capacity by 50%

Emirates Flight Catering has inaugurated a state-of-the-art laundry facility worth AED 160 million at Dubai Investment Park, significantly expanding its Linencraft operations.

This new addition marks a major milestone in the company’s long-term growth strategy and strengthens its role in Dubai’s hospitality and aviation services ecosystem.

High-Capacity Laundry Units and Garment Plant

The facility includes two modular hospitality bulk laundry units with a combined capacity of 142 tons per day. It also houses a dedicated garment plant capable of processing over 28,000 items daily.

Once fully operational, this expansion will increase Linencraft’s total laundry processing capacity by more than 50%, allowing the company to serve 40 additional clients across sectors like hospitality, healthcare, and aviation.

Creating Jobs and Supporting Growth

In addition to improving operational efficiency, the project is expected to create over 400 direct employment opportunities in Dubai. The move aligns with the UAE’s broader goals of economic diversification and local job creation.
