Dubai Racing Club Donates Ramadan Ticket Proceeds to Mohammed bin Rashid Charitable Establishment

Dubai Racing Club Ramadan donation will channel race ticket proceeds to charity during the holy month.

In a meaningful gesture during Ramadan, Dubai Racing Club has announced that a portion of ticket sales from its upcoming race meetings will support charitable causes. The funds will go to the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable Establishment. The move reflects the UAE’s strong culture of giving during the holy month.

The contribution will come from four race nights held at Meydan Racecourse. These include Friday, February 20; Emirates Super Saturday on February 28; and two additional meetings on March 6 and March 13. Organisers confirmed that part of the event proceeds will directly support community initiatives.

Racing Calendar Aligned With Ramadan Values

Ramadan is widely observed across the UAE as a time of reflection, compassion, and generosity. Many organisations use this period to strengthen community support and social responsibility efforts. Dubai Racing Club said it designed this initiative to reflect those core values.

“Ramadan is a time that reminds us of our responsibility to give, support those around us, and strengthen our sense of community,” said Khalifa bin Obood Al Falasi, Board Member of Dubai Racing Club. “At Dubai Racing Club, we are proud to contribute in a meaningful way during this blessed month, ensuring that our race meetings not only bring people together, but also support initiatives that deliver real and lasting impact.”

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable Establishment plays a key role in humanitarian and social projects across the UAE and beyond. It operates under the broader philanthropic vision of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable Establishment and supports education, healthcare, and community development programs.

Meydan Racecourse to Host Four Charity-Linked Nights

The Ramadan race meetings will take place at Meydan Racecourse, one of Dubai’s premier sporting venues. Meydan is known globally for hosting the Dubai World Cup and major international racing events. More details about the venue and events can be found via Dubai Racing Club’s official website.

Tickets for the Ramadan race meetings, including the Ramadan at the Races iftar package, are now available online. Organisers encourage residents and visitors to attend, knowing their participation will also support charitable work.

By linking sport with social responsibility, Dubai Racing Club aims to ensure that this year’s Ramadan race nights deliver more than entertainment. The initiative reinforces the UAE’s long-standing commitment to generosity, unity, and meaningful community impact during the holy month.
