Dubai is preparing to welcome thousands of global energy experts as Middle East Energy Dubai 2026 opens on 7th April at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event runs under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and marks the 50th edition of the region’s most influential energy platform.
Organisers at Informa confirmed that all preparations are complete for the large-scale exhibition. The event helps companies compare solutions, meet suppliers, and speed up major energy projects. It attracts exhibitors from around the world and draws strong participation from senior officials and decision-makers.
The exhibition focuses on supporting organisations facing today’s fast-changing energy landscape. Many groups are working through supply challenges, new technologies, and renewable energy priorities. The platform allows them to evaluate products, choose partners, and advance commercial discussions. More details on national energy policies are available at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
Ahmed Al Kaabi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Electricity, Water and Future Energy Sector, said the ministry’s patronage reflects the UAE’s commitment to supporting global platforms that improve energy system integration. He noted that the UAE aims to strengthen its position as an international hub for cooperation and innovation.
He explained that the exhibition aligns with the UAE Energy Strategy 2050, which focuses on energy security, sustainability, and national economic competitiveness. More information on the national strategy can be found on the UAE Government Portal.
Mark Ring, Group Director of Energy at Informa, said Middle East Energy “brings buyers and sellers together, turning interest into actual demand.” He added that this year’s edition emphasises targeted matchmaking, stronger networking, and product comparison to help businesses accelerate decisions and move the energy transition forward.
The 2026 edition features a full schedule of panel discussions led by more than 150 speakers, including top executives and global experts. They will share practical insights on energy security, innovation, sustainability, and the transition to low-carbon technologies. These sessions aim to give decision-makers the knowledge needed to finalise new deals.
The exhibition continues to grow as a high-impact global marketplace. Last year’s edition recorded commercial activity worth about US$4.05 billion. It also brought together 1,600 exhibitors and nearly 30,000 visitors, including more than 1,200 senior officials. These figures confirm the event’s strong reputation and influence in the international energy sector.
