In a significant move to support citizens, Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed has ordered the exemption of housing loans totaling Dh101 million for 303 Emiratis.
This initiative follows directives from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The gesture aims to ease financial burdens during Dhul Hijjah and Eid Al Adha.
The loan exemption plan reflects the leadership’s commitment to improving the quality of life for Emiratis and enhancing social stability.
According to the Dubai Media Office, the initiative targets citizens in financial need and complements the UAE’s broader social support systems.
This announcement follows a recent federal initiative where the UAE President exempted 222 Emiratis—many of whom are retirees or social assistance recipients—from their debts.
As Eid Al Adha nears, the UAE continues reinforcing its image as a nation deeply rooted in compassion, welfare, and citizen well-being.
