Dubai is once again taking flight as a global hub for innovation with the launch of a future-focused conference programme for Dubai Airshow 2025. The event, set to run from 17 to 21 November at Dubai World Central, is expected to spark bold conversations across aviation, space, and defence.
This year’s agenda features more than 90 hours of live content, delivered by over 350 speakers across 12 dedicated tracks. The lineup includes some of the most influential voices in global aerospace, including CEOs of major airlines, leading innovators in air mobility, and experts in airport technology and sustainability.
For the first time, Dubai Airports will host the Airport & Airline Keynote Track. Attendees can expect insights from Sir Tim Clark (President of Emirates Airline), Tony Douglas (CEO of Riyadh Air), and Paul Griffiths (CEO of Dubai Airports), focusing on digital transformation, safety strategies, and global connectivity.
“Dubai Airshow 2025 will bring together aviation leaders at a time when our industry is redefining how people and economies connect,” Griffiths said. “This platform will help us chart bold ambitions for the future.”
According to WAM, six new tracks have been added to meet industry evolution: smarter MRO strategies, cybersecurity, inclusive workforce development, advanced airport technologies, and a dedicated “Future Flight: Powered by Women” initiative in collaboration with the International Aviation Women’s Association (IAWA).
The UAE Space Agency returns with a two-day space conference focused on orbit security, innovation, and sustainable exploration. Sustainability will also be a major theme, with a dedicated track exploring cleaner aircraft, greener fuels, and climate-forward aviation policy.
“Dubai is a symbol of airport excellence and urban air mobility,” said Ivan Bassato, Chief Aviation Officer at Aeroporti di Roma. “Through UrbanV, we are proud to showcase our vision for safely integrating advanced air mobility into global airspace.”
The conference will also host startup pitch competitions, real-time demonstrations, and boardroom-style talks through the Academy Stage and Vista programme. These platforms are designed to amplify voices from emerging companies and young professionals.
Brian Cobb of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) added, “Dubai Airshow is a launchpad for partnerships that transform passenger experience and global connectivity. We’re honoured to be part of this future-looking conversation.”
One of the headline moments will be Archer Aviation’s showcase of “Midnight,” their electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, currently undergoing flight testing in Abu Dhabi.
“The Dubai Airshow is one of the most important global stages for aviation,” said Archer CEO Adam Goldstein. “We’re proud to highlight our leadership in reshaping mobility with the UAE as a strategic partner.”
Timothy Hawes, Managing Director of Informa Markets, summarized the event’s purpose best: “This is a vital platform for ideas that will define the next decade and beyond of aerospace development.”
From advanced air mobility and airport technology to greener skies and space innovation, Dubai Airshow 2025 promises to be more than a showcase, it’s a launchpad for the future of global flight.
