Dubai's best video game store depends on what you need: Geekay and ZGames are strong for current releases and mall convenience; Game Street and Gamer Zone suit local-store service; Gameena is useful for specialist or wholesale enquiries. Compare UAE warranty, product region, returns and final price before buying.

| Gameena | Specialist or wholesale enquiries | Minimum order and returns |
1. Game Street
Game Street is a local gaming retailer with Dubai branches historically associated with Al Khawaneej and Al Qusais. It can be useful for console bundles, physical games, repairs or availability enquiries.
Best for: buyers who prefer a local shop and direct stock enquiry.
Confirm the exact branch, hours and whether an item carries a UAE-authorised warranty. Use its Facebook page retained from the original guide for current contact details.
2. Geekay
Geekay is a major regional specialist. Its current Dubai directory lists locations including City Centre Mirdif, Dubai Hills Mall, Mall of the Emirates, The Dubai Mall, Jumeirah Park Pavilion and Al Khawaneej Walk.
Its range covers console and PC games, hardware, digital cards, accessories, furniture and licensed collectibles.
Best for: new releases, pre-orders, special editions and a broad physical range.
Check the official Geekay store directory before travel because hours and inventory differ. Read return terms before opening software or hardware packaging.
3. ZGames
ZGames sells consoles, games, accessories, PCs and pop-culture products online and through mall stores. The original guide highlighted Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai Hills Mall and The Dubai Mall; verify the live list before travelling.
Best for: comparing mainstream console products in a mall.
Browse the official ZGames website. Online availability does not always mean branch stock, so reserve or call first.
4. Gamer Zone
Gamer Zone is associated with branches such as Al Barsha and Al Warqa. It can be helpful for games, consoles, controllers and accessories.
Best for: shoppers near Al Barsha or Al Warqa seeking a smaller-store alternative.
Confirm the address, hours and stock through the official Gamer Zone website. For expensive items, ask the invoice to state the warranty provider and serial number.
5. Gameena
Gameena sells gaming products and has included wholesale supply.
Best for: specialist stock or bulk enquiries.
Use the official Gameena website to confirm whether an item is available to individual buyers, any minimum order and the return process.
How to choose a store
Verify the warranty
“UAE version” and “international version” may have different warranty arrangements. Ask who handles faults, coverage length and whether the serial number appears on the invoice.
Check region compatibility
Physical discs may work across regions, but downloadable content, wallet cards, subscriptions and account stores can be region-sensitive. Match the code or DLC to the PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo account region.
Read returns before opening
Opened software, digital codes, headsets and personal-use items may have restricted returns. A defective-item process is different from a change-of-mind return.
Compare the complete bundle
A cheaper console may exclude an official controller, local plug, game or authorised warranty. Compare like for like.
Confirm branch stock
Online and branch inventory can differ. Reserve a limited edition or new release before travelling.
Security warning: Never share a platform password or one-time code with a seller. Buy digital credit for the correct account region and redeem it yourself.
For broader shopping, see electronics stores in Dubai and anime stores in Dubai.
